The superhero general known as Phalanx was granted immortality during the Roman Empire, a gift from his patron god Mars. Dedicated to honor and duty, even in civilian life, Phalanx used his centuries of experience as a battlefield tactician to protect and serve the citizens of Amberville. Fighting on behalf of his patron, Phalanx became ensnared in The God War and ultimately gave his life protecting Fiona during a brutal fight.
