A child of Ares, the demigod Fiona just wanted a normal life. As she attended the Ruby River super-school, it became clear that she would never be able to escape the call to battle. A superhero and frontline soldier in The God War, Fiona made a deal with Hades in exchange for the safety of her loved ones. As the years have passed, the war took more and more from Fiona – ultimately taking the life of her newlywed wife L’eai.
